Beginners: During the day we  practice and perfect(!) lots of the brushstrokes and skills used in decorative painting. These will include floating colour to add shading, comma strokes, stippling and dry brushing  so you  gain experience and confidence in your painting. We will look at equipment needed, how to load, use and care for your brushes as well as paint some fun project pieces onto boards which can be filed in your special  manual. You do not need to be able to draw freehand as traced patterns are used.  Projects taught may vary from pictures shown.

Ideal class if you are new to decorative painting or just wish for a refresher.

There are three days in all, with each one covering different skills and projects. Projects may vary from pictures shown. The cost of the three day course is £165 and is inclusive of a light lunch each day as well as paints and painting surfaces.
